Post Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee likely to direct Salman Khan

Director Atlee earned fame with four successful films in Tamil which includes three continuous films with Vijay. Atlee's union with Vijay worked well, and the director placed himself among the best commercial directors by delivering three box office blockbusters with the actor. Director Atlee is making his Bollywood debut with 'Jawaan' starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, and the film is heading steadily. A teaser was published earlier by the makers and it promised an action entertainer for the fans.

But even before the release of 'Jawaan', Atlee grabbed the attention of another Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan, and the actor has reportedly shown his interest in working with the director. The initial talks are on between the actor and director, and the film will take off if everything goes well between the two.

Meanwhile, there are also reports saying that Atlee will be directing Vijay for a Pan-Indian film after 'Jawaan' and the film will be 'Thalapathy 68'. So, Atlee's film with Salman Khan might take time even if the duo plans to unite.

Atlee recently wrapped up a schedule for 'Jawaan' in Chennai, and the director's next plan is yet to be revealed. 'Jawaan' is slated to hit the big screens on June 2, 2023, and the film also has Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, and Yogi Babu among others, while the film's music is scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
