Actor Prashanth’s comeback film, the Tamil remake of Andhadhun, has been in the making for a while now. Meanwhile, the Jeans star is likely to be part of Vijay’s much-anticipated #Thalapathy68 with director Venkat Prabhu. He has been approached to play a crucial role, something that he hasn’t done before.
When we contacted Prashanth’s father, Thiagarajan, to confirm the same, he said, “Yes, the makers have got in touch with Prashanth for an important role. But things will get finalised only when the team returns from the US, where they are preparing for the film right now. Once everything is confirmed, there will be an official announcement from our side.”
Earlier, we had reported that Prabhudeva has also been brought on board for a pivotal role. The film is said to be an action entertainer, with Vijay playing dual roles as a father and son.
AAMIR KHAN APPROACHED TO PLAY A CAMEO?A source close to the team informs us that Venkat Prabhu has decided to make this a pan-Indian film by roping in a Bollywood superstar for a special appearance. We learn that Aamir has been approached for a role, and talks are on.
Other Bollywood stars, like Shah Rukh Khan, are also being considered for the role. An official announcement is expected close to the release of Leo.
