, which is set against the backdrop of the 1980s. The buzz is that the film could be another Subramaniapuram.

“The story happens in 1985. Prithvi plays a youngster who is big fan of Karthik, while Chandini plays a teacher. Breaking one’s trust is a cruel thing to do and the film revolves around this idea. We have tried to capture the lifestyle of that time and have presented this story, which talks about friendship, in a realistic manner,” informs the film’s director Maanik Sathya.

In an earlier interview with us, Chandini had revealed that she had taken inspiration from actress Shobana’s films to play her role.

The team had recently screened the film for Prithivi’s father Pandiarajan, and the senior actor, the director says, was all praise for it. “He especially praised the climax, and called it a fiery one,” he gushes.
