Recalling his meeting with producer Subaskaran Allirajah in London, Prithviraj shared, “We were having lunch, and I pitched an idea that I wanted to do with Rajini sir. It was an adaptation of an idea I developed for a Hindi film I intended to pitch to Shah Rukh." The idea seemed promising, as Subaskaran showed great enthusiasm about it. Subaskaran is known for backing high-profile films like Vidaamuyarchi, Ponniyin Selvan, and Indian 2. Although Prithviraj Sukumaran refrained from divulging further details, his enthusiasm hinted at the possibility of an exciting collaboration.

In the same interview, Prithviraj Sukumaran discussed his reunion with Mohanlal for 'Empuraan', the much-anticipated second installment of 'Lucifer'. Sharing insights about the film, he revealed that 35% of the movie would be shot in Hindi, with the first 25 minutes feeling distinctly like a Hindi film. He believes this approach will help open up broader markets for the film, given its national and international appeal.

Addressing the extensive use of VFX in Empuraan, Prithviraj Sukumaran emphasized his preference for shooting in real locations. “I am notorious for preferring to shoot in real life. There are extensive CGI sequences, but I mostly like to shoot in real locations. Be it the chopper scenes or explosions — most of them are not VFX," he remarked. His commitment to authenticity combined with high-scale production promises a cinematic treat for audiences.

On the other hand, Prithviraj Sukumaran had back to back hits in the year 2024 with 'Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil', and 'Aadujeevitham'.
