Prithviraj's 'Celluloid' dubbed into Tamil

The Prithviraj classic Malayalam Celluloid written and directed by Kamal, is being dubbed into Tamil as JC Daniel. The film is a biopic based on the life story of Nagerkovil man JC Daniel, considered by many to be the father of Malayalam cinema. The film has music by M Jayachandran and lyrics by Palani Bharathy.
The film censored in 2012 and released in 2013 has received seven Kerala State Film Awards including for best film and best actor for Prithviraj. Celluloid is a brilliant film which tells the life and times of JC Daniel played by Prithviraj and his love for cinema.
The Tamil dubbed version of Celluloid is titled JC Daniel and the audio was released. The Tamil dubbed version is to honour 100 years of Indian cinema.
