Rajinikanth’s one of the best hits was the film ‘Sivaji’. Directed by Shankar, the film starred Rajinikanth, Shriya Saran, Suman, Vivek, Manivannan, Vadivukkarasi. Produced by one of the oldest production houses in the history of Tamil cinema, the makers have reportedly revealed that the film can have a sequel if there is a good script.
Producer Aruna Guhan while on a promotional event of the new web series ‘Tamil Rockers’, reportedly stated that ‘Sivaji: The Boss’ part 2 can be a sequel of the Rajinikanth starrer if there is a good script and story. She added that if someone comes up with a good story the production house will be ready to produce the next part.
‘Sivaji’ is one of the blockbuster hits and it was released in 2007. The film had Rajinikanth playing the lead role and his character was of an US return business man who wanted to settle down in Tamil Nadu and develop quality educational institutions, hospitals and factories and increase employment rate in his country. However, he faces a lot of wrath and difficulties as politicians and the policy of bribery stops him from achieving his goal. The film made a box office collection of Rs 152 crore and later in 2012, the 3D version of the film was released.
