Superstar Rajinikanth had recently watched Tamil theatre group United Amateur Artistes’ (UAA) ‘Charukesi’. Impressed by the play, he met the cast and crew at the backstage to appreciate them. Video of his interaction with them have been doing the rounds on social media. Now, we come to know that Rajinikanth even hosted them all at his residence to show his appreciation. Reportedly, ‘Charukesi’, a play inspired by late Crazy Mohan, was premiered last year on the occasion of the UAA’s entry into its 70
th year of existence.
On the work front, there’s a lot of buzz around Rajinikanth’s latest film, ‘Jailer’. The film, directed by ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ and ‘Doctor’ fame Nelson Dilipkumar, is expected to start its shooting in August. The film is said to be an action thriller. Rajinikanth is reportedly playing the role of an experienced jailer who stops a planned jailbreak. Reportedly, the star cast is also said to have names like Shivrajkumar, Aishwarya Rai and Ramya Krishnan as part of it. The much-anticipated film’s music is by Kollywood music sensation Anirudh.
