Rajinikanth mourns the demise of Ramoji Rao, says 'He was my guide and inspiration'

Cherukuri Ramoji Rao, the popular businessman and the head of Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, passed away today due to ill health. After undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad, the 87-year-old star had his last breath on the morning of June 8. Cherukuri Ramoji Rao's demise has saddened the film fraternities as he played a major part in the growth of cinema and several cinema stars. Now, Rajinikanth shared his condolences on the demise of Cherukuri Ramoji Rao, and he took to social media to share his condolences.


"I am deeply saddened to hear about the demise of my mentor and well-wisher Shri Ramoji Rao Garu. The man who created history in Journalism and cinema and a great kingmaker in Politics. He was my guide and inspiration in my life. May his soul rest in peace", wrote Rajinikanth to express his sadness on the demise of the popular businessman.

Chiranjeevi, Jr.NTR, SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, and several other cinema stars have also paid their last respects to media baron Ramoji Rao. Ram Charan and Shankar's 'Game Changer' team have paid homage to Cherukuri Ramoji Rao at the film set as they are shooting for the film at the Ramoji film city. Meanwhile, fans have also been sharing their favorite moments from the Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad, as the founder of the film city is no more.
