Rajinikanth has teamed up with director TJ Gnanavel for his upcoming film tentatively titled 'Thalaivar 170'. The latest schedule of the film is happening in Mumbai, and Rajinikanth has shared a picture from the set expressing his happiness as he collaborates with Amitabh Bachchan after a long hiatus for the film.

The two legendary actors of Indian cinema are looking energetic, and their picture is breaking the internet. Amitabh Bachchan was spotted wearing a cool sweatshirt, while Rajinikanth looked simple in white, as he always does.
The major portions involving Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are said to be filmed during the Mumbai schedule of 'Thalaivar 170'. The Bollywood Superstar is said to be playing a short role in South Superstar Rajinikanth's film, but it's going to be an impactful one from the veteran actor.
It is worth mentioning that Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan have earlier worked together in multiple Hindi films, and they were last seen on big screens in the 1991 Hindi film 'Hum'. The two legendary actors coming together after three decades hyped the audience for the film, and 'Thalaivar 170' will mark the Tamil debut of Amitabh Bachchan.
TJ Gnanavel earlier completed a schedule for 'Thalaivar 170' in Kerala and Tirunelveli, and the film's Mumbai schedule will also be a short one. The team will be moving to another location in the South, and the film, inspired by a real-life incident, also stars Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and GM Sundar, among others.
