Rajinikanth played the role of a gangster and the superstar's powerful role is a favorite for many. Now, here is why Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' suddenly trends on Twitter. 'Kabali' producer Kalaipuli S Thanu was asked about the craze surrounding the film during its release and its approximate box office collections. The producer felt super happy in producing the Rajinikanth starrer and stated that the film has earned around Rs 1000 crores approximately. This statement of the producer stirred up the fans' celebration and they took to Twitter to trend the hashtag #KabaliHits1000cr to share their praise for their beloved actor and his film.





After the massive success of 'Madras', Rajinikanth called director Pa Ranjith to appreciate him personally and wished to join hands with the director for a film. Rajinikanth and Pa Ranjith then joined forces for 'Kabali' and the film's mass loaded teaser created a massive buzz for the film. The makers then had a never before seen promotional campaign for a Tamil film to hype the film among the audience, and the film was released in a record number of screens across the globe. 'Kabali' holds the record of the highest number for a Tamil film at the USA pre-bookings with $1.9 million and the film was compared with today's release 'Ponniyin Selvan', which is directed by Mani Ratnam.
