, concerned industry folks were wondering what had happened to the
Karagattakaran
star, his publicist has clarified that all is well with Ramarajan and requested people not to believe the rumours.
"Some people have been spreading rumours about Ramarajan, who acted in Karagattakaran, which set box-office records and created history, and other films that have run for over 100 days, and created a distinct style for himself. Ramarajan is absolutely hale and healthy, so do not believe rumours. The reality is that he has now given his stories for two films and is also getting himself ready to act in two film. He is both physically and mentally strong at the moment. He will soon take part in the launch of a film that he is going to act in," read a press statement from the actor's PR.
Last year, in September 2020, the actor-turned-politician had tested positive for COVID-19 and had got himself admitted in hospital. He had mild symptoms of coronavirus and managed to make a successful recovery and returned home. "A few days ago, I visited a government hospital in Guindy as I had mild symptoms of corona. Not only the doctors and nurses, but even the healthcare staff there are working with commitment. I was treated well.
