Rana Daggubati is in talks for Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 170'

Rajinikanth is now basking in the success of his film 'Jailer. The movie, after its release in theaters, received a lot of positive response, and it has made its digital premiere today. The actor has now signed up for his next film, 'Thalaivar 170, with TJ Gnanavel. Interestingly, Rajinikanth's look test for the film has already been completed, and th movie makers have yet to announce the cast of the film.


The new buzz is that Tollywood actor Rana Daggibati has been approached to play a pivotal role in the film. According to reports, actors Rana and Nani are considered to play important roles in the movie, and it is yet to be made clear which actor will be playing which role.

Earlier, the news came out that Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan will also be part of the film's cast, and the two superstars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan will be coming together after 32 years. They last shared the screen space in 'Andha Kanoon', 'Geraftaar, and 'Hum'. The official announcement from Lyca Productions is awaited.

Following 'Thalaivar 170', Rajinikanth also has his next, 'Thalaivar 171, with Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the director recently confirmed the news.
