Actress Regina will soon be seen in the long awaited film 'Soorpanagai'. The bilingual film directed by Caarthick Raju, has Regina playing an archaeologist in the film. While the trailer of the film was released in 2021 itself, the film is only now getting ready for release as SP Cinemas has acquired both theatrical & non-theatrical rights of the film.
The edge-of-the-seat thriller film includes Jayaprakash, Mansoor Ali Khan and Akshara Gowda in important roles. The film is about a dreadful incident from 100 years back that has repeated itself now.
In the film, Regina's character is said to unearth something unique, which leads to some interesting events. The title is derived from the epic Ramayana's popular character Soorpanagai, sister of the Asura king Raavanan. Music for the film is by Sam CS.
