RK Suresh Plays a cop in his debut film as hero

He excelled as the menacing villain in

Thaarai Thappattai

and

Marudhu

, but now, RK Suresh will be seen as a hero in Thani Mugam. The film, directed by Sajith, an associate of Shaji Kailas, will see the actor-producer in dual roles. ���The two roles are different ��� one is positive while the other is negative,��� says Suresh, who will be seen as a cop in one of these roles. Interestingly, he plays a cop in Udhayanidhi���s film with director Gaurav as well, and he says that because of his fit physique, he did not have to do any preparation for the role.

The first schedule of the film, which is set in Chennai, is currently underway, and Riyaz Khan plays a crucial role. The team is yet to finalise the heroine, adds Suresh, who will be seen as a hero in two more films ���

and Kaaka. The latter, he says, is directed by Saravana Sakthi (who played Vijay Sethupathi���s brother-in-law in Dharmadurai). ���It is a comedy film set against a rural backdrop,��� informs the actor.

Talking about his transition to hero roles, Suresh says that acting in Bala���s film has helped him in this regard. ���He showed me that I can provide variations as an actor and that is coming in handy now,��� he remarks.
