Parthiban’s upcoming experimental film ‘Iravin Nizhal’ is scheduled to release in theatres on July 15. The movie stars Parthiban, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar, Brigida Saga and Anand Krishnan in lead roles. The makers of the movie earlier announced the characters played by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Brigida. Now, they have revealed that Robo Shankar will be playing the role of Swamy Paramaanandha in the film.
Taking to Twitter, the movie makers shared a poster of Robo Shankar disguised as a godman. The statement read, “Witness Robo Shankar as Swamy Paramaanandha in an unparalleled avatar in ‘Iravin Nizhal’.”
‘Iravin Nizhal’ is the world’s first nonlinear single-shot movie. Directed by Parthiban, the movie focuses on a 50-year-old man who thinks about the paths that he has crossed in his life over the years. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman. The cinematography of the film is done by Arthur A Wilson.
A couple of days ago, Parthiban reportedly stated that a small screening from the shooting days of ‘Iravin Nizhal’ will be played for the audience before the film screening which will help them to understand what a non-linear single-shot film is. He also added that the movie will have no interval blocks.
