Rising music composer Sai Abhyankkar, currently one of the most talked-about talents in Tamil cinema, has put an end to rumours about his acting debut. Reports recently suggested he would debut as a hero in a film backed by a leading production house. However, Sai has now clearly stated that these claims are untrue and that he has no such plans to enter acting anytime soon.
Sai Abhyankkar signs on as music director only
The confusion started after the makers of 'GOAT' announced a new collaboration with Sai Abhyankkar on social media. This led many to believe he would be making his acting debut. Responding to this, Sai clarified in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India that he signed the project only as a music composer. He said, “That is false information. It is not true. I have been signed only as a composer for an AGS film, and an official announcement will come soon.”
Sai Abhyankkar’s honest statement goes viral
Speaking openly, Sai Abhyankkar shared, “I am not acting. I don’t even know how to act. If it came naturally to me, I would have tried it.” He further added, “I don’t have that level of talent in acting. I can dance, but some things should come naturally.” His honest words have gone viral, with many appreciating his clarity and focus on his strengths rather than jumping into acting without confidence.
Sai Abhyankkar focuses fully on music career
Currently, Sai Abhyankkar is busy composing music for big projects like 'Karuppu' starring Suriya, set to release on May 14. He is also working on other high-budget films, including Allu Arjun's 'Raaka.' With multiple songs already receiving a great response, Sai is concentrating fully on music. His statement makes it clear that, for now, he wants to grow as a composer and not shift his focus to acting.
