Samuthirakani condemns Vadivelu

Ever since the commencement of the project, ‘Imsai Arasan 24th Pulikecei’ has been embodied in controversies. In fact, the much-awaited sequel hit rock bottom after the producers filed a complaint against actor-comedian Vadivelu for not turning up for the shoot. The actor has reportedly walked out of ‘Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikecei’ due to creative differences. Meanwhile, Vadivelu has been in the news recently after the the hashtag #PrayForNesamani trended world wide last week.

In an interview after that, Vadivelu had apparently degraded the director and the movie’s producer Shankar. He had called Shankar a “graphics director” and added that Chimbu Deven was a man who did not know cinema.

Samuthirakani took to his social networking page to condemn the comedian who had degraded his colleagues in the film industry, stating that his act was despicable and that he shouldn’t disrespect directors.



Director Naveen of 'Moddar Koodam' fame, who was an assitant to Chimbu Deven also condemned Vadivelu for his statement earlier.
