Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot going on about Kalakshetra, a centre for artistic endeavour. There have been allegations sexual harassment against teacher Hari Padman, who has been affected recently after protest from the students. Actress and Bigg Boss fame Abhirami, who is a former student of Kalakshetra, has been defending Kalakshetra and teacher Hari Padman.
Model and actress Sanam Shetty has hit back at Abhirami for trying to defend the organisation. Sharing a video of Abhirami voicing her opinion, Sanam Shetty wrote, "Arrogance & ignorance! Pesa virupam illena pesame irunga. If it dint happen to U it doesn't mean it hasn't happened to them. Were U there for all 89 years? Can U guarantee every activity of every teacher there? Abhirami had stated that she is an alumni of the school and said she is not interested to make a comment after hearing one side of the story. Speaking about the issue over the school, she said that the institution has been running over 89 years and cannot blame it without knowing the full story.
