Santhanam clarifies on rumours of joining politics

There was a buzz on social media recently that actor Santhanam was all set to take the plunge into politics and join a national political party. However, the actor has come out with a clarification that these are nothing but rumours. When quizzed about the same, the actor said that it was just a rumour and was more hilarious than his recent release

. Interestingly, a number of film actors had recently joined the party which included Khushbu, Mohan Vaidya, Radha Ravi and RK Suresh.

The actor was visiting Kamala Theatre in Chennai to promote his recent release Biskoth when he responded to the question.

Biskoth is one of the first few films to release after theatres reopened in the state. The comedy drama is directed by
