Boss Engira Bhaskaran' was a comedy film directed by M Rajesh and starring Arya, Santhanam, and Nayanthara in the lead roles. A couple of months ago, there was buzz that the director had planned a sequel to the film, and now reports suggest that the film will go on floors this September. However, an official confirmation has yet to be made.
In a recent interview, Santhanam reportedly said that director M Rajesh is in a discussion with him and Arya for 'Boss Engira Bhaskaran 2. He also revealed that the director is working on the film script. The film will bring back the combination of Arya and Santhanam again, and the comedy actor said that he has a good rapport with Arya even off-screen.
According to reports, the film's sequel is said to maintain the same cast, including Nayanthara as the female lead, and the music for the movie will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. On the work front, Santhanam has his next film, 'DD Returns, which is releasing in theaters on July 28. Meanwhile, Arya is said to work with director Pa Ranjith on 'Sarpatta Parambarai 2' and Mr. X.
