Directed by Vishnu Ramakrishnan, the film is set in Chennai and revolves around a gangster who had stopped indulging in violence. Sharing the poster, Jiiva posted, "#SaranyaPonvannan is back with a bang. This time not as an ordinary mother, but an extraordinary #GangsterGranny." (sic)



Saranya will be showcasing typical gangster mannerisms in the film, and she has apparently performed the stunt sequences with a lot of ease. The film has Raaj Varma as the villain and Amzath Khan in a crucial role.
