‘NGK’
, which is one of the most awaited releases this year.
We had earlier reported that the shooting of ‘NGK’ was delayed after Selvaraghavan reportedly fell ill.
However, as per the latest development, Suriya and Selvaraghavan have reportedly started shooting for the film. Prior to this, Selvaraghavan took to Twitter to update about his health status. He said, “Hi friends. It was a simple medical procedure. I'm perfectly fine and have resumed work. Shooting for #NGK will start in next couple of days. Once again thank you all for your love and concern.”
Being made on a big budget, ‘NGK’ is tipped to be a political drama that will see Suriya playing the role as
Nandha Gopalan Kumaran
. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, ‘NGK’ has music by
Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is working with Suriya after sometime now.
‘NGK’ stars Sai Pallavi and
Rakul Preet Singh as the leading ladies, while actors Jagapathi Babu, Ilavarasu and
Ramkumar Ganesan
will be seen in supporting roles. The makers initially planned for a release this Diwali. However, reports now suggest that the team is targeting for the Christmas weekend.
