Selvaraghavan fine tuning 'Pudhupettai 2' script for Dhanush

Earlier in March, in a surprise announcement,

director Selvaraghavan

confirmed that his next project will be with his brother Dhanush and the film is none other than '

Pudhupettai 2

'. While the fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the project soon, the acclaimed director has now revealed since he has got a lot time due to the

lockdown

, he has been fine tuning the script for Dhanush starrer 'Pudhupettai 2'.

But director Selvaraghavan also dropped a bomb saying that he was not sure if his next film itself would be 'Pudhupettai 2' or later. He went on to say that 'Pudhupettai 2' is definitely one of the most challenging scripts that he has written till date. He also seems to be confused he could call the film a sequel or prequel to 'Pudhupettai'. Either way the fans would be happy if the film is made at the earliest.

Dhanush who had wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming Tamil film 'Karnan' and joined the sets of his Hindi film 'Atrangi Re' before the lockdown. So the star actor might rejoin the shooting of 'Atrangi Re' with Sara Ali Khan after the lockdown. Meanwhile, he is also awaiting the release of his film 'Jagame Thandhiram' directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
