Shaam is likely play an important role in the film.
Shaam, who is known for his films like '12B', 'Lesa Lesa', 'Ullam Ketkume' and 'Thillalangadi', is reported to play Vijay's brother in the film. Interestingly, the popular actor has earlier worked with Vijay when he played one of Vijay's friends in 'Kushi' directed by SJ Suryah. While yesteryear actor Mohan is also reported to be in talks to play an important role in the film, an official confirmation is awaited.
While the makers are planning to release the film for the Diwali festival 2022, the second schedule of shooting of the film is expected to begin soon. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead with Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu in supporting roles. The film has music composed by S Thaman.
