Shalini Pandey to join the cast of Dhanush's 'Idli Kadai'

Actor Dhanush recently announced his fourth directorial project with a maiden production house and the 52nd film of the actor has been titled 'Idli Kadai'. It was already reported that the movie will star Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj in lead roles and the new update is that 'Arjun Reddy' fame Shalini Pandey will be playing a prominent role in the film. A couple of days back it was also confirmed that Arun Vijay, Ashok Selvan and Raj Kiran will also be part of the film's cast and a official confirmation and announcement on the cast and crew of the film is awaited.

Taking to X (foremrly Twitter), Dhanush a couple of days back announced his fourth directorial project. Posting the title look picture, the actor turned director revealed that the film's tory will also be written by him.


The technical crew of the film consists of music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Kiran Koushik and editor Prasanna. The film is soon set to go on grounds. On the work front, Dhanush is currently working on the post-production of his film 'Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam'.

He is also shooting for 'Kubera' with Sekhar Kammula that stars Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. He also has the films 'Tere Ishk Mein' with Anand L Rai and a yet to be titled Ilaiyaraaja biopic with Arun Matheswaran.
