Shankar praises Mari Selvaraj after watching 'Vaazhai'

The recently released Tamil film 'Vaazhai' has been critically acclaimed. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the movie is a children's drama and it is a semi-autobiography of the director's life that shows a young teenage boy who is the top of his class but struggles due to poverty.


Director Shankar, who recently watched the film, complemented Mari Selvaraj. In video shared, the 'Game Changer;' director said, "Vaazhai is a film that leaves a deep impact. I still haven't been able to come out of the effect the movie created. The pain of the Tharai children carrying the Vaazhai is something you can feel. From now on, whenever I see bananas, I will remember all the actors from the film."

'Vaazhai' stars Nikhila Vimal, Sathish Kumar, Dhivya Dhuraisamy, Priyanka Nair, Nivedita Rajappan among others. Apart from Shankar, many other film stars have also liked the film and appreciated Mari Selvaraj for it.
