Director Ponram's upcoming movie starring Sarathkumar and Shanmuga Pandian in lead roles went on floors earlier in August 2024. With the films shooting progressing at a brisk pace, the makers have revealed that the film has been titled 'Kombuseevi' along with the first look poster of the film.
The film is said to be based on true stories that happened around 1996 in Usilampatti and Andipatti village Vaigai dam area. The film also stars Tharnika as the female lead, Kaali Venkat, and Kalki Raja.
The film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the lyrics for it will be written by Yugabharathi and Snekan. The technical crew includes cinematographer Balasubramanian and editor Dinesh Ponraj.
