Vijayakanth’s son
Shanmuga Pandian, who made his debut with Sagaptham (2015), is all set for his next. His latest film, in which dons the avatar of a cop, has been titled
Mithran
. The film will be directed by
Boobalan and bankrolled by G Entertainers. The title design and the film’s title was recently released.
Mithran has music by Arun Raj of Thadam fame and lyrics by Madhan Karky. Ruben is handling the choreography for the film. Ronica Sing will play the female lead in it. Interestingly, Shanmuga Pandian’s father Vijayakanth had played the cop role many a time in his career. Pandian’s other films include Madura Veeran and the much-delayed Tamizhan Endru Sol. His debut film opened to negative reviews by the critics and public.
