Already it was known that
Mani Ratnam is going to produce a film titled ‘
Vaanam Kotattum
’ under his banner Madras Talkies and co-produced by Lyca Productions. Touted to be a family drama, the project titled Vaanam Kottatum will be directed by his former associate
Dhanasekharan.
Vikram Prabhu,Madonna Sebastian, and Aishwarya Rajesh is already part of the project, now
Shanthanu Bhagyaraj
joins the crew with
Amitash PradhanMani Ratnam, who penned the story for the movie, was originally supposed to direct the project. However, due to his other commitments with respect to his next project, which is rumored to be a film adaptation of popular Tamil epic Ponniyin Selvan, he couldn’t make this up.
The crew was confirmed by Madras talkies with a twitter post. Govindh Vasantha to compose music while Preetha is the cinematographer. Radhika and Sarath Kumar have been signed up as well to play supporting roles in this flick.
