Actor Sharwanand’s upcoming film directed by debutant

in Tamil. It is known that actress
Amala Akkineni will be making a comeback in Tamil cinema after 28 years in a film starring
Sharwanand of 'Engaeyum Eppothum' fame and
Ritu Varma in the lead. While we had resported a couple of days ago that the film is a time travel movie, and will be a nostalgic experience for audiences, the makers have now released the teaser of the film.
The teaser reveals that the film is a time-travelling story where Sharwanand along with two of his friends travels back in time with the help of a scientist played by veteran actor Nasser. Amala Akkineni plays the mother of Sharwanand providing the emotional sentiment in the film.
Bankrolled by popular Kollywood producer SR Prabhu, 'Kanam' is said to be a commercial entertainer which deals with elements like family, friendship and love. The film features an ensemble cast like Nasser, Priyadarshi, Vennela Kishore, Sathish, and Ramesh Thilak.
