Recent discussions around
Vijay and his wife,
Sangeetha, have brought renewed attention to a past statement made by Vijay’s mother, Shoba Chandrasekhar. Her comments, shared during an earlier public event, are now widely circulating on social media. Instead of focusing on recent personal allegations, many are highlighting the warm and affectionate bond she described within the family.
Shoba shares simple and loving moments with Sangeetha
Speaking at the event, Shoba shared how she would always check with Sangeetha before cooking. As per News 18, she said she would call her and ask what food to prepare. In response, Sangeetha would usually say she would ask the children and get back. This small habit or tradition they had was a demonstration of their respect for each other as well as their coupled comprehension. Shoba’s line also indicated how loving the relationship was.
Sanjay and Sasha’s Biryani love adds a personal touch
Shoba also had a lot of nice words to say about her grandchildren's food preferences. Shoba recounted how every time they planned their visit, Sangeetha would ask her cousins, Sanjay and Sasha what they craved to eat. The kids loved biryani, and Shoba was glad to take time out of her day to prepare it for them. Shoba remembered that they would relish their meal and eat in a very animated manner. She especially mentioned that Sanjay would praise the taste while eating, making those moments even more special.
The family life of Vijay, Sangeetha, Jason Sanjay, and Divya Sasha in the spotlight
Vijay and Sangeetha got married in 1999 and have two children, Sanjay and Sasha. Over the years, they were often seen as a close-knit family. Amid ongoing discussions, these older moments and memories are gaining attention again, reminding fans of the simple and personal side of their lives. The focus has now shifted to these family interactions rather than speculation.
Coming to the work front, Vijay has the most awaited film 'Jana Nayagan' in the pipeline and the audiences are eagerly waiting for the release date update. On the other hand, Vijay was last seen in GOAT' which was directed by Venkat Prabhu. 'Goat' received mixed reviews from the audiences where ETimes rated it with 3 stars out of 5 and our review read, "GOAT deserved better music; Yuvan Shankar Raja scores well in action and elevation sequences, but songs, including the special number with Trisha, are a big let down. Cinematography, too, is just about average as VFX has taken over in most of the outdoor locations." Recently Vijay's actioner 'Theri' had a re-release.
