Shruti Haasan gives savage reply to a marriage proposal from a social media user

Shruti Haasan, who is currently busy shooting her upcoming film ‘Coolie’, recently grabbed attention for her clever response to a social media user who asked about her marriage plans.

During an interactive Q&A session on Instagram, the actress was yet again questioned about her marriage plans by a curious fan. The user remarked, “Last time I also asked the same question, but you didn’t respond. When will you marry?”



Shruti did not lose her candid demeanor as she replied with a sharp yet humorous tone, “No, and stop asking.” Her response quickly went viral, and many of her fans praised her strong attitude. This is not the first time the actress has faced such questions from her fans. A few years ago, one fan asked the same question about her marriage plans, and she reacted by stating, “I don’t think I am going to, to be completely honest. I think it is time we move on from this.” The actress has started facing the question again, particularly after her highly publicized breakup recently.

Shruti was previously in a relationship with designer Santanu Hazarika during the COVID-19 lockdown. The couple lived together in Mumbai and often shared affectionate moments on social media. However, breakup rumours surfaced after their online appearances started diminishing. Shruti later confirmed her single status during another Q&A session, stating she was “enjoying life” and not looking to mingle.
On the work front, Shruti Haasan is working on ‘Coolie’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The action-packed film boasts an ensemble cast, including Nagarjuna Akkineni, Soubin Shahir, and Upendra Rao. Fans are also excited about a cameo by Aamir Khan. She will also be seen in ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam’, featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
