Actor Sibiraj's upcoming film is '
Maayon
' with debutant director Kishore, and he plays a solid role in the mystery thriller. While the film was earlier announced to hit the screens in June 17, the makers have now pushed the film's release by a week and the mythological thriller will release on June 24.
Sibiraj plays Arjun, an archaeologist in the film while Tanya Ravichandran, who plays the female lead, will be seen in the role of an epigraphist. The story of the film is based on a mystery of a large number of temples. This film is set against the backdrop of an ancient temple. Maayon’s story revolves around a few archaeologists visiting a temple for research purposes. What follows is a slew of unexpected incidents that draws them into a fast-paced plot.
Produced by Double Meaning Productions, the music for the movie is composed by the maestro Ilaiyaraaja. The cast includes Radha Ravi, KS Ravikumar, SA Chandrashekar, Bagavathi Perumal(Bucks), Hareesh Peradi and Arash Shah playing supporting roles with Ilaiyaraaja composing the music for the film.
