Silambarasan: Manmadhan is really close to my heart

Actor Silambarasan’s romantic thriller Manmadhan is all set to release in theatres once again. Sharing a poster from the film, which had Silambarasan and Jyotika in the lead, the actor wrote that the film was extremely close to his heart. He wrote on his social networking page, “A movie really close to my heart #Manmadhan #Atman #SilambarasanTR.”

The star cast of the film had Goundamani, Sindhu Tolani, Atul Kulkarni and Santhanam.The film was directed by AJ Murugan, had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by RD Rajasekhar and editing by Anthony. The soundtrack of the film was a major hit with songs like Thathai Thathai, Manmadhane Nee, Vaanamunna, En Aasai Mythiliye and Kadhal Valarthen. The lyrics were penned by Vaali, Na Muthukumar, Snehan and Pa Vijay. Interestingly, Mandira Bedi and Yana Gupta made a special appearance in the film.
