We had earlier reported that Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan, who part of Ulaganayangan Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam's upcoming film 'Thug Life', has walked out of star studded films due to date issues. Now, the latest buzz doing the rounds on social media is that actor Silambarasan TR has been roped into the project and is expected to begin shooting in April.
According to reports, Silambarasan TR's upcoming project 'STR 48' produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International will begin in May or June after the star actor completes his portions for 'Thug Life', which has a huge star cast which includes Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Gautham Karthik, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Joju George.
The technical crew of Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life' includes cinematographer Ravi K Chandran who will be working on a Mani Ratnam film after 2004’s Aayitha Ezhuthu, National Award winners Sreekar Prasad (editing), Anbariv (action choreography) and Sharmishta Roy (production design).
Silambarasan TR is teaming with 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' fame director Desingh Periyasamy for his next film. The film tentatively called 'STR 48' is being produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Film International (RKFI). The film is said to be a periodic action drama, Silambarasan will be essaying a dual role as twin brothers in the upcoming film.
