Actors

Simbu and Gautham Karthik

have teamed up for the Tamil remake of Kannada blockbuster Mufti. The untitled film has been directed by Narathan and produced by

KE Gnanavel Raja

under the banner of Studio Green. The upcoming movie created sky-high anticipation among fans since it will bring the crazy combo of Simbu and Gautham.

The film went on floors a couple of months ago in Bellary, Karnataka and wrapped up its first schedule there. But after the first schedule of the shoot, the film has stopped making any noise. It is rumoured that the second schedule of the film has not been started due to one major issue. It is said producer Gnanavel Raja was upset with the

behaviour of Simbu

as he is not showing interest to actin in the film. He is also not making his way to the shooting spots.

Gnanavel Raja has reportedly invested Rs 40 lakhs so far, and as Simbu didn’t attend the shooting, apparently it would be a massive loss to the producer. Gnanavel Raja have reportedly approached the Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council to seek the solution for his issue. However, we need to wait for the official confirmation regarding the same.
In addition to that,

Producer Suresh Kamatchi

has spoken about his decision to cut Simbu from his latest film,

Maanadu

, as the actor was irregular for shooting.
