In fact, a picture of its main leads -- Simbu, Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi and Arun Vijay, went viral online and left the fans madly waiting for the
film. According to reports, Mani Ratnam is said to have shot an important sequence featuring all the male leads.
Jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ is one of the most awaited Tamil releases this year. Also starring Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Prakash Raj, Thiyagarajan and

Cinematographer Santosh Sivan is reuniting with Ratnam after their ‘Raavanan’ in 2010. If reports are to be believed, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ is likely to release by the end of this year.
