posted a video on Twitter wishing his fans a happy Pongal and also keeping a request in front of them. The star actor had who is awaiting release of his latest film '
Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven
' directed by Sundar C on Feb 1st, requested his fans to spend their money in buying their parents and siblings a good gift rather than using it to erect banners, flexes and doing abhishekam to the cut outs.
Following talks on social media that STR is doing such stunts just for publicity and he doesn't have too many fans, STR has taken an U turn and in a sarcastic tone has accepted that he has only 3 or 4 fans. He has gone on to request these fans to celebrate the release of his film in a huge manner. He asked this fans to keep cut outs bigger than ever before, as many banners as possible and not to do paal abhishekam with milk packets, but milk cans.
Looks like STR wants to prove that he has a huge fan base after his critics came down on his earlier statement that he does not want any celebrations at time of release.
STR’s much awaited film with Sundar C ‘Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven’ is all set to hit screens on February 1. The film cast include Simbu, Megha Akash, Catherine Tresa, Mahat and music for the film has been composed by Hip Hop Tamizha.
