Simbu under Cheran's direction?

The latest buzz in the industry is that directorCheran will direct STR alias Simbu. The film in question is the Telugu project Potugadu, which had Manchu Manoj in the lead. The producer of the Telugu version, Sirisha Sridhar is keen to remake the movie in Tamil with Simbu playing the lead.
Simbu and Manchu Manoj happen to be good friends. Potugadu had four stories that were intertwined with each other.The film had four lead actresses. Now we have to wait and watch who the four ladies are teaming up with STR. The director who created Raman Thediya Seethai is also in talks for the project.
