Actress Simran was one of the prominent actresses of India and she ruled the box office in 90s. The actress has now completed 25 years in the film industry and she is now all set to make her come back in Bollywood. Her new Hindi film 'Gulmohar' is making its release on OTT on March 3.
Speaking about the Kollywood film industry and its development in the past few years, the actress in an interview with a national media reportedly stated that she grew up with the industry and she has work across many genres. Speaking about her learning from the films she had acted in, the actress reportedly to the media portal said that she is very happy with versatile roles she has played and the actress also said that audience over the years have changed and their interests have become more peculiar.
Simran reportedly also said that she wants to continue acting in Tamil film industry by being part of the opportunities and chances she gets to produce new content. The actress also noted that Tamil films apart from focussing on just heroes indecent times have given importance to female leads as well. Citing the example of 'Ponniyin Selvan', the actress stated that though the story focuses on heir to the kingdom, both Trisha and Aishwarya Rai got maximum screen presence.
