Sivakarthikeyan begins shooting today for SK16

Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s next with director Pandiraj, which director Pandiraj began today with an official pooja. The shooting of the film starring Sivakarthikeyan, Anu Emmanuel and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead begins today. The film which has music by D Imman also has Natty, RK Suresh in important roles with Yogi Babu and Soori providing the comic relief.

The film, which is being referred to as SK16, is said to be a rural entertainer, like most of Pandiraj's films. The film is expected to hit screens for Pongal next year. This is the second time director Pandiraj and Sivakarthikeyan are working together after the latter's debut film 'Marina', which has Oviya playing the female lead.




Sivakarthikeyan, is also currently shooting for PS Mithran's Hero and is awaiting the release of 'Mr Local' directed by M Rajesh. He also has in his kitty a sci-fi film with director Ravi Kumar.
