Sivakarthikeyan attended the launch of a popular production house's fifth and sixth productions titled 'Superhero' and 'Ninja', as the chief guest. Speaking at the grand ceremony, Sivakarthikeyan recalled his close relationship with producer K.S. Sinish, which began during his television days on the show. “I was working in television when I went to Sinish’s office and he looked at me and asked, ‘What are you going to do in the movies?' At that time, I was assisting in the film 'Vettai Mannan' and acting in a small comedy role. Becoming a hero was not a big goal in my mind. However, I said, 'I want to be a hero,'" he said with a laugh.
Sivakarthikeyan narrates Sinish’s honest advice
Sinish's response was unforgettable for Sivakarthikeyan. "Why do you have this unnecessary dream?" he asked directly, and replied, "You do comedy well... Sivakarthikeyan also shared that he advised him to ‘watch out for that.’ He said that he did not accept his friend’s opinion and countered by asking, “What kind of person can’t become a hero?” On top of that, he also said that even dancer Sathis is more like a hero than me!” Sivakarthikeyan jokingly shared, making fans laugh.
Sivakarthikeyan shares how the old conversation resurfaced after he became a hero
Sivakarthikeyan said that after years passed, he lost memory of the conversation, but Sinish was the one who kept it alive. “Then, when I became a hero, he called me and asked me if I was angry about what he said that day. I couldn't talk because I was busy with work. But he said, 'I haven't spoken yet... I thought he was still holding on to that word,'" SK said, expressing his affectionate friendship.
Sivakarthikeyan gears up for 'Parasakthi’ release
The production house, which delivered superhit films like 'Parking' and 'Dikkilona', has now embarked on new ventures with 'Superhero' starring Arjun Das and Sandy, and 'Ninja' featuring Bhaarath and Prarthana Nathan. Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan, who last delivered the blockbuster 'Madharasi', is currently awaiting the release of 'Parasakthi', directed by Sudha Kongara. The film, which is set to release on January 14th, has created huge anticipation among fans as Sivakarthikeyan's next big step.
