SJ Suryah, Priya in a monster film that will make you laugh

Director Nelson Venkatesan of Oru Naal Koothu fame is ready with his next, which stars

SJ Suryah

and

Priya Bhavani Shankar

in the lead. Touted to be a film targeted at kids, this film has been titled

Monster

.

“When people watch the film, they will know why we have titled it so,” says Nelson, holding on to the suspense.
Elaborating on the project, he says, “Calling it a family entertainer will be a cliché, because the manner in which we have treated the subject is different. Humour will be the undercurrent of the film. And roping in Suryah is the USP. He is now seen in villain roles. But in this film, he has a unique character. His role is something audiences haven’t seen before.”

The film has been shot primarily in Chennai and the post-production work is going on in full swing. “Priya plays Suryah’s pair. The story will revolve around her, but she will be out of the story,” he smiles and adds, “The film has a minimal cast and will revolve around Suryah, Priya and Karunakaran," he informs.

Justin Prabhakaran will be scoring the music for this film. Gokul Benoy has handled the cinematography, VJ Sabu Joseph is the editor and Shankar Shiva is the art director.
