Recently, Sneha, along with her husband, Prasanna, visited the Thiruvannamalai Annamalaiyar Temple on the occasion of the Panguni Waning Pradosham. As part of their devotion, the couple participated in the sacred Giri Pradakshina (circumambulation of the hill temple), performed rituals, broke coconuts, and offered prayers. However, what caught public attention was that both Sneha and Prasanna were spotted wearing footwear while walking on the revered Girivalam Path, which is considered sacred by devotees.

Fans condemn the act, calling it a great sin

This led to criticism from many devotees and social media users, who condemned their actions. Fans expressed their disappointment by stating, "The Thiruvannamalai Girivalam Path is sacred! It is a great sin to walk around Girivalam wearing sandals!" Many pointed out that devotees traditionally walk barefoot as a mark of reverence and accused the couple of disrespecting the religious significance of the path. The incident has since sparked debates, with some supporting Sneha and Prasanna while others continue to criticize their actions.
