Popular lyricist, actor, singer and activist Snehan tied the knot with actress and silambam expert Kannika Ravi on July 29 in Chennai in 2021. The young couple are all set to welcome their first baby in the next few months and they celebrated that fifth month bangle wearing ceremony yesterday.
Sharing pictures from the ceremony, Snekan and Kannika Ravi wrote in Tamil, which translates to, "Our future successor. Welcoming fifth month bangle wearing ceremony."
Their wedding was attended by celebrities like legendary director Bharathiraja, Gnanasambandan, Pala Karuppiah, Taj Noor, Ameer and other eminent personalities.
Snehan – who has worked on a host of films, including Autograph, Saamy and Raam – became a household name after his stint inside the Bigg Boss house. He became close to Kamal Haasan during the show and later, joined his political party and even contested the Lok Sabha election. Kannika, meanwhile, has acted in films like Devaraattam and Adutha Saattai, and the TV show Kalyana Veedu, among others.
