Sony bags 'Kadal' music rights

The music rights of Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' starring Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair have been acquired by Sony Music, which holds almost all the big albums of 2012. The shooting has been wrapped up and the audio launch is eagerly awaited.
Sony Music have managed to grab it from Gemini Music whose parent company Gemini Film Circuit are marketing the film.Kadal is also a comeback vehicle for Arvind Swamy and the first look poster of the film was released recently.
That one song from Kadal, Nenjukkulle which was performed by AR Rahman and Shakthisree Gopalan for MTV unplugged has raised the eagerness and expectation levels of music lovers.
