Irish actor Ray Stevenson, who played the role of an antagonist in SS Rajamouli's blockbuster film RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead, has passed away at the age of 58. Director SS Rajamouli and actor Jr NTR mourn the demise of the foreign actor and have shared his heartfelt condolence.
Expressing his grief, director SS Rajamouli wrote, "Shocking... Just can't believe this news. Ray brought in so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. It was infectious. Working with him was pure joy. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace."
Jr NTR wrote, "Shocked to hear about Ray Stevenson's passing. Gone too soon. It was a great experience working with him. May his soul rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and dear ones during this difficult time."
Born on May 25, 1964 in Lisburn, Stevenson was the second of three sons. He moved to England at the age of 8 and got enrolled in the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He graduated at 29 and became a regular actor in movies and TV shows since the early 90s.
