A couple of days back there was a huge buzz that Mani Ratnam will be collaborating with Rajinikanth for a new film. The two was said to collaborate after their classic cult film 'Thalapathi' which was released in 1991. The news left the fans very excited, however, Suhasini Mani Ratnam has now quashed the rumours and stated that they are not planning to collaborate.
In an interview with News 18, Suhasini Mani Ratnam mentioned that there is no such plans and said that she does not even think if Rajinikanth and Mani Ratnam know about it. Suhasini also spoke about the undying stardom of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, and mentioned that she even worries about the young actors in the film industry and even referred to Dhanush who is 41 years old to be the youngest star who has the stardom.
Talking about the young actors Ashok Selvan and Harish Kalyan, Suhasini said that they are all just penetrating and coming forward.
On the work front, Mani Ratnam is currently shooting for 'Thug Life's that stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role and the rest of the cast includes Trisha, Simbu, Abhirami, Nassar, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra, Ali Fazal, Joju George, Aishwarya Lakshmi and Gautham Karthik. The music for it is composed by AR Rahman.
