Suriya proves his power in Telugu states, 'Kanguva' tops all other 2024 biggies in the pre-sales

Suriya is one of the popular actors in the South, and the bankable actor has a strong fan base in Tamil Nadu. Following Tamil Nadu, Suriya has a massive fan following in Telugu states and his movies have been doing far better than other Tamil biggies in the region. Now, the theatrical rights of 'Kanguva' have been sold in Telugu states, and a popular distributor bagged the Suriya starrer for a whopping price. According to OTT Play, 'Kanguva' Telugu theatrical rights have been bagged Rs 25 crore, and it's a record number for a 2024 Tamil film. 'Kanguva' outperformed Vijay's 'GOAT' (Rs 17 crore) and Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' (Rs 16 crore) in Telugu theatrical rights, and this proves Suriya's fan power in Telugu states.

'Kanguva' is releasing on November 14, and the film's Telugu distributor has confirmed that the Suriya starrer will have special morning 1 AM and 4 AM shows in Telugu states. Suriya and his team recently visited Hyderabad for the promotions of 'Kanguva' and they received an overwhelming response from fans during the promotional event. Suriya turned emotional on seeing fans' unconditional love for the actor and he expressed his love for fans in reply through his thoughtful words.

Directed by Siruthai Siva, 'Kanguva' features Suriya in a dual role with Disha Patani as the female lead and Bobby Deol as the antagonist. The periodic drama is releasing in multiple languages, and it's going to be a record start for Suriya at the box office.
