The teaser of actor Suriya’s
Etharkkum Thunindhavan
was released today. The film marks the second association of
Suriya with director
Pandiraj after Pasanga 2.
The film, which is set against a rural/town background, stars
Priyanka Mohan,
Sathyaraj,
Vinay, Saranya Ponvannan, Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, M.S. Baskar, Devadharshini and many more. The technical crew of the films includes music by
D Imman
, camera by Rathnavelu among others
The teaser which begins with quick jump cuts showing visuals of police station and other locations leading to glimpses of a sword-wielding Suriya. Further, we get to witness many action-oriented shots followed by the introduction of villain Inba (played by Vinay). With blink-and-miss frames of Priyankaa Arul Mohan and Sathyaraj, Suriya roars back in the final moments of the teaser with shots of an action sequence.
Going by the teaser, Etharkkum Thunindhavan promises to be a fun action-drama and full-on commercial entertainer for Suriya fans.
The film, which is releasing on March 10, 2022, will be Suriya’s first theatrical release after his last two films — Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim — took the OTT route.
